[What You Will]

[This production of As You Like It brought to light the subtle discomfort that is sometimes felt in the audience, especially when it cleverly challenges us to confront some of our ingrained ideas about women, men, homophobia, and our obsession with—and misuse of—the internet. In this way, it successfully highlighted tension without directly “accusing” the audience of their stereotypes. If the goal was to provoke thought and conversation through wit and an invitation to self-reflection, it certainly succeeded.]

[A choice of free will, a way of reconciling an irreconcilable view of the world. Easy to say, but incredibly hard to shape on stage. But the team pulled it off masterfully, and this is definitely a show worth seeing.]
