[The Bald Boy and the Magick Seal]

[He gave everything for compassion. Magic gave everything back.]

directed by  Srđan Janićijević

A fake magician is exposed and forced to tell the story he stole along with his magic seal: a tale about the difference between taking and earning, cruelty and compassion, shortcuts and sacrifice. Through a bald boy who gave his last coins to save abused animals, we learn that real magic—like real power—can’t be stolen. It has to be deserved. And kindness always finds its reward.

[The show opens with a magician performing terrible tricks—then watches him get demolished by a kid in the audience who calls bullshit and demands the real story. What follows is stripped-down puppet theatre mining a Turkish folk tale: a boy sacrifices everything to free tortured animals and earns true magic in return. The simplicity isn’t poverty—it’s precision. A fierce little fable about compassion over cruelty, and why kindness to the voiceless matters most. Smart, unsentimental, direct.]
